A former beauty queen and mother, Ngai believes that SunSmart has paved the way for her to reach out to more underserved communities so they may be given the same opportunities as people in the urbanized areas have. She says, “With over 20 years of being outside the Philippines, I saw the need to empower fellow Filipinos abroad. My goal is to inspire them to keep moving forward despite the challenges they face in their own lives, while giving them a fulfilling career.” She hopes that through the right advocacy, she gives opportunities for Filipinas to have a fulfilling career while supporting their respective families in the Philippines.
